Ocean Drive is a team of true professionals who pride themselves in offering the highest standards of professionalism and service, whatever your boating requirement.
Gary Haydon is the Principal of Ocean Drive a fully RYA recognised sea school and has covered over 80,000 sea miles either training others to drive motor yachts or skippering charter vessels. He has trained over 300 students to various levels of competence and more than 15 skippers who are now working as professional Yachtmasters.
We can offer a large fleet of motor yachts for charter in the Balearics and can be tailored to meet your requirements whether it is a family holiday, corporate entertainment, honeymooners and all special occasions.
As an RYA training establishment we can help with any training requirements from a training programme towards a Yachtmaster qualification or just a little help with your close handling. You might even want to combine your training with a family charter holiday, in which case we would ensure that we arrange things around you, and make sure that all members of your family have an enjoyable time.
If you are thinking of purchasing a motoryacht let us help you find the one that most suits your needs. As an independent company we are able to help and advise without putting you under any pressure but helping you find what you are looking for at the right price. Or if you already own a motoryacht but need crew, let us find you the people to help you.
With Ocean Drive you are guaranteed a personal and individual service, as we take great pleasure in delighting our customers time after time.

About Menorca
The island of Menorca is quite simply a boating paradise. It is also unique, so different from the other Balearic Islands retaining the feel of a Spanish province with its rolling hills, hidden bays and sandy beaches that characterise an island undamaged by tourism. The island boasts 220 kms of coastline with more beaches than all the other Balearic Islands put together, including 50 natural caves, 100 underwater caves and over 160 callas (little bays).
Menorca has a rich pre history and endured a turbulent modern history but has survived with its traditions and spirit intact, leaving a rich historical legacy of outstanding heritage. The island is also an environmentally protected zone being declared a Biosphere Reserve in 1993.
Mahon is the capital of the island, the wide and deep port of Mahon is spectacular and next to Pearl Harbour is the second largest natural harbour in the world. Mahon offers excellent shopping, weekly markets and an endless selection of café bars and restaurants. Menorca is famous for its traditional recipes and an array of restaurants offer a wealth of gastronomic delights and surprises. The most outstanding foods are the delicious meat from the island farms, the fresh fish, shellfish and lobster. Handmade Cheese from Mahon is considered one of the best cheeses in Europe.
Horses play the leading role in all popular fiestas that are held throughout the Menorcan summer from June to September. Highly decorated horses and riders each year relive a ritual that has its origins in the beginning of the 14th century and take place in every town and village.
